As well as the positive impact on the environment, they offer the possibility of reduction in operational costs or energy recovery from production processes. An example of implementation of the Jakon’s internal policy in the field of environmental protection is the construction of a photovoltaic power plant. The plant, provided with monocrystalline photovoltaic modules, was implemented on the existing steel construction production hall at the Jakon’s head office. Owing to the used photovoltaic system, almost 50 000 kWh of electricity will be produced. The emission of CO?, which can be avoided as a result of this amounts to as much as: 38 000 kg / year
